My latest book is called Thompson's Bounty, the story of a Coast Guard cutter crew that gets pulled into the past into the middle of a conflict between an English admiral and his former first officer who now captains a pirate ship in the Caribbean. Well, in my mind, the entrance was soft, but then you have to deal with the people already there.
