I think my housing is now taken care of

I can never be sure about these things, but it appears that I will be receiving an apartment on campus. The woman I spoke to on the phone had me convinced I have a Towersview apartment, and then I gave my credit card information to pay the $250 deposit. So, either I have an apartment now at UOP, or I paid $250 to some woman's embezzlement fund. Sometimes, it would just be nice to get a solid "yes" rather than the ambiguous kind of "yeah".

I'm starting to look around the current apartment and realize how much needs to be taken care of before I go. Ugh.

On a positive note, I sold both an old laptop and my mini washing machine. I sold them pretty low, so I didn't think it would be that hard to sell them, but at least they are now with people who can use them, and I got a little bit of money out of the deal as well.

I put out a personal on craigslist a few days ago, and surprisingly, I've received a few positive responses. If they pan out, I hope to make some new friends, and maybe a girlfriend, soon after I get back to California. Michigan was like kryptonite to me.

The question, though ... red kryptonite or green?
